Challenge
It takes much work to keep track of all the products and services we have subscribed to every month. All we see is money deducted from our accounts, sometimes from services we no longer need. How can you design a product which helps manage subscriptions?
Goal
Design a subscription management app through the Design Thinking method. I did the project in 3 weeks, following the discovery, ideation, co-creating, and design phases. On This project, I was mentored by the Interaction Design (IxD) team and the Experience Design Director, Neskens Cavillini, from Accenture Costa Rica Studios.
Solution
To design this product, I analyzed the briefing and did an action plan for the execution of each activity, visualizing the phases through the Design Thinking method. In the first phase, I did the Discovery phase, interview guides, and note guides for three semi-structured user interviews with users. After collecting the user data, Competitive Benchmarks, Personas, and Journey Maps, we could set our objectives for the next phase. The second phase, Ideation, involved the creation of a site map and user flows. Followed by the third phase, the Co-creation phase, where I did wireframes, wireflows, and usability tests with two users. The fourth and final phase was the Design phase, in which I designed the style guide and high-fidelity prototypes.
